Renovating a pair of leaky hillside townhouses, with sagging ceilings and bowing walls required replacing everything – except the foundations and some structural framing.Already at the maximum building footprint, internal alterations were required to increase the usable living space as part of an extensive renovation that include re-roofing, re-wiring, re-plumbing and recladding both townhouses.
With complex rooflines, intricate bespoke work was required to re-roof and ensure weathertightness before the interior renovation could proceed.
Unusual rooflines internally created challenging spaces to reline and ensure straight, crisp finishes. The renovation has transformed a pair of dated Spanish-styled townhouses into two timeless townhouses of impeccable pedigree.
