How we work.

Bringing your vision to life.

For many, building a home is uncharted territory – full of excitement, but also uncertainty. That’s why our process is designed to feel intuitive, transparent, and deeply collaborative. We begin with understanding: your lifestyle, your goals, your site, and your budget.

From there, we help shape a vision – whether you’re working with your own architect or engaging one of our trusted partners. Every step is considered, from consents to cost management to craftsmanship. But we never lose sight of the emotional journey – the anticipation, the decisions, the pride.

Our process.

At Radius Building Ltd, we prioritise clarity and collaboration throughout your home-building journey. Our streamlined process ensures that every detail is meticulously planned and executed, providing you with a stress-free experience.

1. Site visit & feasibility study

Every project begins with a considered site visit. We assess the true potential of your land – its conditions, orientation, access, and any planning requirements. Whether you’re building new or undertaking an architectural renovation, this is where we align your vision with the realities of the site.

We also identify challenges and opportunities early, ensuring your project is viable from the outset – practically, financially, and with a clear path forward.

2. Initial consultation and concept design

This is the foundation of your project, where you meet with the Radius Building team to discuss your vision, budget, and site constraints. The initial concept drawings are created to capture the essence of the design, ensuring that the project scope is clearly defined before moving into detailed planning.

3. Developed design and documentation

Once the concept is approved, the design is refined and expanded into the Developed Design phase. This involves detailed coordination with architects, engineers, and consultants to finalise the specifications. Comprehensive documentation is prepared, including detailed drawings and a preliminary list of materials, which is crucial for accurate pricing and consent applications.

4. Fixed price contract and consent

With the design finalised, a Fixed Price Contract is presented, giving you certainty on the total project cost. Simultaneously, the comprehensive documentation is submitted to the local council for Building Consent. Radius Building manages this complex administrative process, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met, allowing for a smooth transition to construction.

5. Construction and project management

This is where your vision takes physical form. The Radius Building team efficiently manages the entire construction phase, coordinating all tradespeople, suppliers, and scheduling. Regular communication and site meetings keep you informed of the progress, and the focus remains on maintaining the highest quality of craftsmanship and adherence to the fixed timeframe.

6. Final handover and follow-up

Upon completion, a thorough inspection is conducted, followed by the final handover of your new building. You receive all necessary documentation, including warranties and maintenance guides. The process concludes with a dedicated follow-up to ensure your complete satisfaction and address any post-completion queries, reinforcing the commitment to long-term client support.
